How are Guaranteed Stops impacted by Dividends?

We adjust guaranteed stops by the dividend amount to maintain the level of risk on a position. This also prevents a guaranteed stop from being triggered purely as the result of the dividend adjustment.

Example:

In the case of a five-point dividend adjustment on the UK 100, the guaranteed stop level would also move down by five points.
